Loot Social Application Users Get Gadgets, Apparel for Taking Surveys and Completing Offers

(PRWEB) November 27, 2009 -- Loot is a new social application that allows users to complete offers like trial subscriptions and surveys in exchange for credits that can be used to get free electronics, video games, designer clothing and more. Loot users will be able to track their credits and engage friends through the social network that they are already members of.

Loot users can complete offers from household names like Amazon and Blockbuster, or from completely new companies looking to carve out a market through social media. Normally application users are used to completing offers in exchange for extra items or abilities in game applications that have no real world value. Now they can spend that time earning credits that will get them free video game consoles, electronics and other items.

“Right now users are completing these very same offers and getting in-game chickens and cows in return, now they'll be able to use those offers to get themselves something real.” Loot designer Sergei Voitenko said.

Loot members are able to invite friends to join them and take advantage of Loot's system of offers. Once a user invites 30 friends to join that member will receive VIP status. VIP Loot members will receive double the usual number of credits for any offer completed. Loot rewards most active members by allowing them to capitalize on their network of friends and earn credits faster.

Additionally, Loot will also allow users to buy credits instead of completing offers. Too often users of incentive-based programs find that once they get close to the electronics or gaming systems they actually want, there are no more offers left to complete. In addition to a constantly updating the deep roster of offers Loot allows members to purchase credits in order to bridge the gap between their credits and the items they want.

This combination of VIP status for dedicated members and the ability to buy credits allows Loot users to customize the application to suit their needs. Hardcore users can fill their homes with free stuff, while casual users can complete a few offers and use the credits generated as a discount on items they would have purchased anyway.

Loot is the first application from Toy Box Labs, a startup dedicated to producing high quality social media applications that provide real value to their users. Toy Box Labs is founded on the idea that a valuable, honest application aimed at savvy users can successful. Smart consumers will spot dishonest companies and avoid them, but will return again and again to a service like Loot that provides a true benefit to its users.
